Quick Thought: UN Is Going To Disarm The U.S.A.

Seems every couple of weeks somebody starts spreading rumors that soon the United Nations is going to disarm the American Citizen of their firearms. That's not going to happen folks.

Let's think about it. The United Nations can't stop countries like Iran and North Korea from developing nuclear weapons. They still can't confirm if Israel has nuclear weapons or not. They can't stop countries like Syria and Iraq from gassing their own people by the hundreds. They couldn't stop China from running over their own people with tanks at Tiananmen Square. Warlords run amuck across Africa, the coast of Somalia is run by pirates, while drug cartels battle each other in Mexico and South America.

When the UN actually does something beside writing a strongly worded letter and puts boots on the ground, they are mostly American boots. Then at the first sight of blood, it's pretty much just American boots left.

People think the UN is going to disarm 80 million American citizens? An armed population whose numbers are greater than most of the world's armies combined. That's not going to happen folks.

But this doesn't mean we who defend the 2nd Amendment should sigh in relief and relax. While the UN taking our guns is not going to happen, members of our own Federal and State governments are trying their hardest to disarm us. Please fight this, join the NRA and similar organizations, be in contact with your representatives and vote accordingly.
