Even if you don't own a firearm, let alone carry one for protection, a person should have situational awareness on their mind, especially when out in public.
The other day the conversion was on carrying when you go out to eat. One person states that they alway sit facing the door and with their sidearm facing the inside of the booth to make sure it's not seen by other patrons.
My question is: if you sit with your sidearm inside the booth, under the table; how would you effectively draw from the seated position?
Putting thought into where to sit and how you would react in a mad situation are things to pondered not only by people who have decided to pack heat while having breakfast in public. In a time when the natural instinctive "fight or flight" mode kicks in there should be a flight plan thought out before it is needed too. Escape and evade options should be considered by all.
