More of My Thoughts on the Rumored Glock G42

A few days ago I posted about my doubts for the legitimacy of the leaked photo of the soon to come Glock 42. In my post, The Rumored Glock 42 Doesn’t Pass the Sniff Test for Me, I questioned the listing of the Tenifer finish.

The is a bunch of discussion on the subject of the G42 on Glock's social media website, Glock ID. Glock themselves just answered one of the active member's questions regarding the Tenifer finish.

I am currently running on the theory that either Glock started the rumors of the G42 is a 380, or are at least enjoying the buzz the rumors are generating.  If Glock just announced they're introducing a single stack  9mm at the upcoming SHOT Show, many critics would just say "about time." If they leak out false info about a single stack 380, the critics will give mix reviews and the masses will debate why a 380 instead of a 9mm. The buzz (as we all know) will build bigger than if Glock just came out and said it's a 9mm.



At least that my theory and I'm sticking with it. Mainly because I simply don't like the 380 round.
